Front Of House Manager - Coco's Aberdare
03/09/2026
NEW ROLE* As our business continues to grow, we’re excited to introduce a brand-new role for an experienced Front of House Manager at Coco's.
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day FOH operations, lead the team, and ensure everything runs smoothly and our customers are having the very best experience. This role will allow the owners to step away from the floor and focus on developing and growing the business, so you'll be trusted with managing the floor fully.
We are open to full-time or part-time hours, based on the applicant.
At Coco’s, our priority is the guest experience. We need someone who can step in, lead the floor, and ensure that every customer that walks through the door has an excellent visit.
You will work closely with the owner and whilst leading a shift; you will be responsible for the team, the atmosphere, and the overall standard of the business.
The Role -
Customer Experience - Your primary goal is to ensure every guest has a great experience. This starts the moment they arrive. You are responsible for ensuring the space is welcoming and that guests receive clear, helpful directions throughout their visit.
Standards & Presentation - We pride ourselves on our standards. You must ensure that every detail, from the temperature of the room, the volume of the music, to the presentation of the table is perfect for every guest, every time. You are the one who ensures the space is always ready to impress. It's all in the details.
A Proactive Person - We need someone who sees a problem and fixes it immediately. You must be able to think on your feet, anticipate issues before they escalate, and take decisive action to maintain our high standards.
Team Leadership & Communication - You need to be able to delegate tasks with confidence. When shifts get tough or busy, you are expected to communicate clearly with the team, keeping everyone focused and calm.
Adaptability - The floor changes quickly. You must be able to think on your feet, adapt to unexpected issues and maintain high standards regardless of how busy the shift becomes and similarly; be able to delegate tasks to the team during quiet periods.
Positive Environment - While your focus is on high standards and efficiency, you are also responsible for fostering a supportive, happy team environment.
Team Player - We believe in a "one team" approach. During busy shifts, we all pitch in to ensure the best guest experience, whether that means clearing tables, washing dishes, running drinks, or jumping on the POS. We are looking for someone who shares this collaborative spirit and is happy to help wherever needed. This is not an office job.
Attention to Detail -You don't walk past a problem; you fix it. You notice the small things that impact a guest’s visit and look at ways to change it. You will also have very high cleanliness standards, you must be able to 'see' the mess to be able to tackle it.
Communication - You are direct, clear, and confident in your ability to lead others.
Requirements & Experience -
A minimum of 5 years in a supervisor or management role.
Maturity: Must be 21+. We need someone with the professional maturity to manage staff objectively, kindly and with clear guidance.
Availability: Full-time or part-time options available. Saturdays are mandatory as our busiest day, though we can be flexible for pre-planned leave, personal plans or special events.
Must be fit to work: You will be on your feet all day.
Hours: Will fall between our opening hours of Mon-Sun, daytime only!
